![]() ![]() This is a mistake I will never make again. I didn't even mention these things take up a special forces slot that could be used for marines instead. The naval bonus is simply a joke compared to just taking a heavy tank instead. Most importantly, you can begin researching and producing them immediately as the game begins rather than waiting until the game is practically decided. You get superior stats everywhere, except cost, fuel, and speed, 3 stats that don't matter where you just need a few to break through the coastal defenders. ![]() Which brings me to.just taking heavy tanks instead. Maybe if they branched off heavy or medium tanks, rather than an upgrade. Well, the second version is much better with 60 armor, but I only like to play in multiplayer, so you'll never unlock these or produce any before the game is over. So why take them if their armor is worse than paper? Less def, breakthrough, soft attack, hard attack, speed, ARMOR, piercing, fuel, cost. I assumed the terrain bonuses would be what really made them shine, but the 50% attack bonus just isn't worth it considering it's worse than a light tank 2 in every way. I tried a variety of templates and they all failed miserably. So i was trying to improve my naval invasions and incorporated amphibious tanks. ![]()
